This article examined the lived experiences of Muslim men who had attended secondary schools in Quebec in the post-9/11 context. Employing a critical ethnographic approach stemming from institutional ethnography, this study aimed to learn about the experiences of these men from their perspectives to inform the ethnographer's ignorance. The overall aim of this inquiry was to explore if these men had experienced biases/racism in their secondary schools in the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks and throughout the period of the War on Terror, and if so what were possible causes for this treatment.
